Each accounting system with an API interface has their own protocol for exchange of data with 3rd party products like MartusTools™. Martus will help you with the steps necessary to make the connection. For accounting systems that do not have an API, MartusTools™ provides a mechanism for uploading financial data via Excel or CSV files.

MartusTools™ can be available for use in just a few hours. A typical full implementation process including setting up your users and training is 1 – 2 weeks.

We take the train the trainer approach which is aimed at developing your own local experts on MartusTools™.  We usually do 2-3 training sessions lasting about 1-2 hours each. The first session is for Reports and Setup, the second session for Budgeting and the third if necessary for any followup or further training.  

Chrome, Firefox and Edge are all compatible with MartusTools™.

Yes, MartusTools™ has online help links throughout the software plus a support knowledge base with how to videos and FAQ’s.

Your annual subscription includes email and telephone support, plus frequent software updates. Our Support Team is available Monday through Friday, 8AM until 8 PM Eastern Time, excluding holidays. Our response time commitment (SLA) is the next working day, although we expect to respond in a much shorter timeframe.

Access is controlled at the function and dimension level. You can also further restrict access to certain accounts and/or limit drill-downs on certain accounts.

MartusTools™ automatically syncs with your accounting system nightly!  You can also do on-demand updates at any time. (This applies to integrations with Intacct, QuickBooks, and Financial Edge NXT. Other accounting systems, such as Shelby and ACS, don’t offer an API for nightly updates, so those updates are performed manually as often as you wish.)

Just let Customer Support know, and we’ll promptly increase your user limit. User licenses are sold in 5-user packs, and the annual cost is prorated so that all your licenses renew at the same time each year.

Yes, the Payroll Budgeting module is an optional module of MartusTools™. Payroll Budgeting allows you to develop payroll budgets in detail, then post payroll-related totals to your budgets.  Payroll budget numbers can also be uploaded into MartusTools™ via Excel without purchasing the Payroll Budgeting module.

Yes, MartusTools™ supports most SAML-based SSO applications.
